FAQs

What is mobile exercise physiology?

Mobile exercise physiology means we come to you. Whether that’s your home, local gym, community centre, or even outdoors in a park or public space, to deliver safe, tailored exercise programs that help you achieve your health goals.

Do I need a referral to see an exercise physiologist?

No referral is needed for private clients. However, if you are claiming through Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, or another funding body, you may need a referral from your GP.

What conditions can exercise physiology help with?

Exercise physiology supports a wide range of needs, including chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes, arthritis, heart disease), injury rehabilitation, neurological conditions, mental health, falls prevention, mobility and strength training, and overall fitness and wellbeing.

Do you service NDIS participants?

Yes, we work with NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants, creating personalised exercise programs to build strength, independence, and confidence.

How far do you travel for mobile visits?

We service clients across Sydney, with a primary focus on NDIS within the Sutherland Shire & St George areas. Travel outside these areas is possible, just reach out to discuss eligibility.

What equipment do I need?

None! We bring portable exercise equipment to you, and can also make use of any equipment you already have at home or in your community.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions typically run for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on your program and goals. This allows enough time to check in, complete your exercises safely, and review your progress.

How much does it cost?

Pricing aligns strictly with governing guidelines and varies depending on your funding source (NDIS, Medicare, DVA, WorkCover). We provide a clear fee schedule upfront so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you offer hydrotherapy sessions?

Yes! We can meet you at your local hydrotherapy pool to deliver water-based exercise sessions that are safe, supportive, and great for joint health and mobility. Alternatively, if you have a safe pool accessible in your home, that is an option too.
